Brunch comes from English words: breakfast and lunch. It is a combination of late breakfast and early lunch, or a combination of richer breakfast with a light lunch.
Unlike other countries where brunch is a common affair, it is rather an exceptional event in Slovakia. Aucafé was one of the first restaurants in Bratislava to introduce a regular Sunday brunch.
